Shimoda is great, but like Kitchen, he can win, but has never gone on a roll towards dominating. Davies seems like he can do that now. Not sure Southwick will be his cup of tea, but no one else seems like they are ready to step up.

(Pictured racers unknown) The 1956 Big Bear Run was an infamous 150-mile Southern California desert motorcycle race. It boasted a massive starting grid of nearly 800 riders but saw an exceptionally low finish rate. Bill Postel rode his Triumph to a 1st-place victory, overcoming treacherous terrain alongside legendary racers like Bud Ekins who finished second.The legendary Hare and Hound event required riders to conquer demanding high-desert terrain—often crossing Means Dry Lake, Giant Rock, and Pioneer Town. Between the two of them...  4 bikes in the top 11 at an AMA motocross. Pretty impressive really.

It really came down after press day!  The rain was crazy. 
It'll be off and on all night and into tomorrow.  This could really mix things up.
