Racing with SoCal Vet MX on 3/9 at their nationals

[Proride Phil]

The SoCal Vet MX Nationals, or Internationals since we had racers from Canada was last weekend, 3/8 - 3/9. It is a 2 day event, but Saturday for me was really a no go, as the track was really soupy to say the least.

The GH crew did a great job making the track as rideable as possible, but at my young age, I just didn't want to take a tumble like so many others did. I did finish both of my motos though.

Now Sunday was way better, as the track was actually in pretty good shape. The GH crew again did a great job. Of course, the videos don't do the sand sections justice, which now is basically most of the track. My race consisted of 60 masters on the first gate and 60-70 experts on the second gate. There were only 3 of us in the 70 expert class this time and the 3 of us found ourselves battling each other in both motos. Actually had a great time overall.

Be sure you set the youtube video to the highest quality setting (sprocket on the bottom right) that your device will support, as most of the time it defaults to 720 and the video sucks. The videos don't seem to come out very good on iPhones so I've been told. And remember, you can look all aroung since it is a 360 video.
