Jake Thompson started doing suspension in 1980 as part of Showa's Racing Service. His job was to attend all the National and Supercross events for Team Honda and Team Suzuki. In 1998 Jake worked for Noleen Yamaha, where he helped Tim Ferry and Kyle Lewis win Top Privateer honors. From 2001-2003 Jake was part of Race Tech where he worked in the R&D department, managed the Service department, was the Technical Support Advisor and taught the Shop Skills portion of the Race Tech Seminars. At the end of 2003 Jake decided to start up his business.
